Honoring Those Who Serve and Sacrifice

At the end of the Congress proceedings on December 17th, 2007, Delegates, participants and guests will honor the men, women, organizations or companies who have made exceptional contributions to America's domestic preparedness, response and recovery capability in pilot communities.

The National Service or Sacrifice Awards presentation is co-located with the National Congress for Secure Communities at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.

The awards reflect commitment and dedication to innovation, partnership and heroism in community service, and nominees exemplify this dedication and commitment to professionalism, leadership and courage that has made a mark on their community.  Finalists will be chosen from these nominees and announced during the dinner ceremonies.
