The site is geared toward providing the state's small and medium-sized businesses with the information and resources to stay prepared in the face of disaster and to help with recovery efforts. The site issues information on fires, winter storms, earthquakes and other natural disasters. Emergency officials in the state said there is a plethora of information so it may take some time for business owners to digest all the information. "It's like drinking out of a fire hose," Steve Sautter from the Benton County Emergency Management office told the NBC affiliate. "There is a lot of information coming out. This is an opportunity for you take a little bite out of the elephant at a time when it comes to securing your business and keeping it safe." State officials also release a regular security newsletter highlighting recent public and private partnerships to prepare for disasters.
