Co-hosted by the  the Community Institute for Preparedness, Response and Recovery (CIPRR), the Corporate Crisis Response Officers Association (CCROA) and National Council on Readiness and Preparedness (NCORP), and other partners, the Congress brings together federal, state and local officials, first responders, members of the media, business leaders, non-profit organizations, academic experts, and 5-Pilot community leaders as Delegates to the Congress.  The Delegates, and Alternates who are not able to attend but who can connect via the Internet, will help develop simple, effective pilot demonstrations that leverage the assets of the private and community sectors to augment the local public sector preparedness and response plan during the first 72 hours of crisis.
