Emergency Response System: Training very first responders | 10.31.2006 | 02:51:28 | Views: 7107 | ID: Every first responder, whether they are EMS, paramedic, doctor, nurse firefighter or law enforcement should have access to the Emergency Response System - a set of guidelines for "very first responders" that can help to evaluate and respond to medical emergencies. The ERS can also help school officials, or other public/private organizations so that in the event of an emergency, rapid medical response can be executed. ERS is a low-tech approach to educating people on how best to respond to a medical emergency. However, it is almost $400 so funding would be a hurdle to large distribution. However, the education one receives by working with the information contained in the ERS would help greatly when more hi-tech solutions are not available.
