March 13 '08 Duos Technologies announced in February that it had partnered with Baptist Health Enterprises to upgrade the hospital system's security and surveillance network, a press release announced. Baptist Health is the largest non-proft healthcare provider in the state.
Duos Tech also partnered with DHS to help install the security systems underpinning the National Capital Region Rail Pilot Project and the Amtrak Security Pilot Project, along with Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc., Government Security News reported.

For the Florida hospital network, Duos "has deployed over forty of Dous' digital video surveillance systems at its various facilities ... These systems provide a critical means of securing the organization's premises and real estate holding, as well as protecting patients, staff, and the general public," Duos said in its press release.

At the heart of the technological upgrades, Duos said it was using the "Praesidium based intelligent software technology, enabling the introduction of advanced security features and video analytics applications," for the Florida hospital system.

In Washington, Duos' work would "allow 24/7 monitoring of streaming video, data and alarm information at police communications centers" which will be used by railroad and local law enforcement officials, Government Security News reported.
