Delegates to the National Congress can enroll in the Continuing Education Program, and receive continuing education credits at no additional cost by submiting to the National Blueprint for Secure Communities a description of a best practice in their community, and for attending the Congress general sessions.

Education credits focus on the new area of structuring public/private partnerships and identifying emerging practices and technologies that can augment public sector response capability.  The program has been developed with the assistance of Texas A&M Universtity's Integrated Center for Homeland Security, in coordination with the Joint Interagency Training Center (JITC) and in consultation with a number of colleges and universities which are represented in the ReadyCommunities Partnership.
