On hand to deliver the webinar will be AJ Briding, Certified Emergency Manager and Jerry Snees, USMC (Ret.), Office of Emergency Preparedness for the City of New Orleans. Online registration for the Feb. 12 webinar is available, with a replay on Feb. 14. Those who attend the webinar will receive a complimentary copy of CIBER's white paper, "Are You Ready? An Emergency Management Perspective for Governmental CIOs." Topics of the webinar will include ways to navigate the various governmental and bureaucratic challenges facing integration of emergency response operations; how the City of New Orleans has re-tooled and reshaped their emergency response apparatus to fit into a more streamlined mechanism; and how the role of technology can help to reduce some of the strains in integration.
