TD International and Assist America partner through SecureAssist for emergency medical assistance and more | 05.13.2008 | 09:41:50 | Views: 6819 | ID: May 13 '08: Boutique strategic advisory firm TD International partnered with employee emergency support services company Assist America to augment the SecureAssist initiative which seeks to provide a "comprehensive program of security and intelligence (to companies and employees who are responding to or are victims of) a multitude of threats ranging from terrorism," political, and socio-economic situations. The partnership was announced in 2004 by Assist America. The company said it was using TD International's business security risk management expertise "to help clients respond to security threats in the US and abroad," the press release read. The SecureAssist program gives travelers "an added level of worldwide protection that extends beyond emergency medical assistance." Chairman and President of Assist America George W. Howard said, "A partnership of this kind is a good fit for both organizations. With TD International's skills and expertise to complement our own, we are able to offer highly specialized global security services that protect employers, employees - and their dependents - anywhere in the world." In addition to corporate security and continuity of operations programs, SecureAssist offers services to the academic community - members of universities or colleges who may be studying or working in parts of the world which are politically unstable.
